Honey Baked Man print

Fine art print of Erik Adriel Peterson's "Honey Baked Man."

This work is part of a new series wherein Peterson begins by making a paper collage, which is then hand drawn, manipulated, and Xerox transferred in layers to a wood panel. From there, Peterson continues a layering, drawing, and painting process until they have formed a rich environment full of taboo and intrusive thoughts. In "Honey Baked Man," a seated view of a table setting produces distressed memories full of unease around family dinners, sex, and somatic issues. A delicious strawberry shortcake or a menacing pile of shit?

The image is printed true to the original at 16''x20''. It is printed on 18''x24'' archival, luster fine art paper to allow for standard framing with a white border.

Each print is signed and numbered in an edition of 25.
